System Safety Engineering
System safety engineering aims to develop safe systems. Creating these systems involves identifying, analyzing, and assessing the likelihood and impact of undesirable events that could affect them, reducing these risks to acceptable levels so that the system’s operation does not harm people, property, or the environment.
System safety analysis is an interplay between analytical methods and the ability to evaluate and present risks and implement changes to make systems safer. To ensure safe operations of high-risk systems, the system designer must apply a well-balanced system safety engineering already in its design and development phase. It also reduces the risk of costly changes at a late stage.
Tapora has complete experience delivering system safety engineering and flight safety assessment projects in air traffic management (ATM).
